Terms of Service - EEON

Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using EEON ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on iOS devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create using the App, including notes, recordings, and transcriptions. Since all content is stored locally on your device:

You are solely responsible for backing up your content
We have no access to, control over, or responsibility for your content
Deleting the App will permanently delete all your content
We cannot recover lost or deleted content

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App
Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Distribute, license, or sell the App to third parties

In-App Purchases

EEON may offer in-app purchases for premium features. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. TRANSCRIPTION ACCURACY MAY VARY BASED ON AUDIO QUALITY, ACCENTS, AND OTHER FACTORS.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Data Loss

Since all data is stored locally on your device, we are not responsible for any data loss due to device failure, theft, loss, software updates, or accidental deletion. We strongly recommend regularly backing up your device using iCloud or iTunes.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by other means. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Apple App Store Terms

These Terms are between you and EEON only, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any). Apple has no warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App.

Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App or your use of it, including product liability claims, consumer protection claims, or intellectual property claims. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
